During this Advent season, we are preparing for Christ’s coming – for the one that is to come, and not just the one that has already come. As we prepare for that, we are going to take a deeper and further look into the Gospel of John, chapter 1.
If you read Matthew and Luke, they’re all about the narrative of Jesus’ birth, the Gospel of Mark gets right into Jesus’ life, but the Gospel of John is the most colorful of the apostles. He wants to take you all the way back to the divinity of Jesus being the eternal Word of God. In this series, we ponder the majesty of the birth of Christ together.
On December 12th, we had our children’s program, and our Joyful Ringers performed, “To the World, Joy.”
