Sign Language Class
This class is an opportunity to acquire proficiency in American Sign Language through participation in this complimentary class. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to enhance your existing skills, this free class provides a supportive environment for learning and practicing American Sign Language. Join us and delve into the rich and expressive world of sign language, fostering communication and understanding within the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
Our class meets twice per month on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. We are excited to welcome our deaf community to join us in worship on the 2nd and 4th Sundays too – we will have ASL Interpreter(s) available during the service!
Becky Jungklaus, a Deaconess from Life Bridge Sealy, who is deaf herself is our lead instructor. The class is for all ages. Each week we learn new vocabulary, deaf culture, and play games using language to improve our skills.
April Ramsey (pictured above), a Deaconess, is our Director of Children’s and Family Ministry and our ASL Ministry coordinator.
We hope you can join us!
