We purchase lilies each year to beautify our chancel for Easter morning’s celebration of our risen Savior, and we are preparing to do that again this year! With each purchase, you can include a dedication that will be displayed on our website, in the email newsletter the week of Easter, and on the announcement slides loop on Easter morning.
Each plant is only $15 and is yours to keep immediately following the Easter Festival worship service. In fact, we encourage you to take your lilies home and plant them in your gardens!
A few tips: Choose a sunny, well-draining spot and dig a hole deep enough to plant it at the same depth it was in the pot. Water thoroughly and mulch lightly. You can expect the plant to die back after blooming, but don’t worry—it will regrow from the bulb next season!
Note: any lilies not picked up are placed outside in our Prayer Garden on 3rd Street.
