Of 21 chapters in his Gospel, John dedicates 9 of them to the events and occurrences surrounding his death and resurrection. From His triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, through His death on the cross, His victory over the grace, and finally to Him meeting His disciples in Galilee, John zeroes in on the source of our life of grace and truth. During this special season of Lent, where we recognize that it was for our salvation that God sent His Son into the world, we join John in recalling the suffering of our savior and commit ourselves to follow His example.
