Jesus lived in a world that was filled with both poverty and abundance, just as we do now. And through stories and experiences Jesus reveals what true poverty and true abundance really look like. And because He came to “give us life and give it abundantly” (John 10:10), he calls us out of scarcity thinking to a life lived abundantly toward God and others.
