Memorial Women’s Day

There seems to be a certain day being set apart to celebrate different people or things for every day of the year. For example, in the last month or so we have had St. Patrick’s Day, April Fools Day, National Siblings Day & Pets Day; with Earth Day right around the corner.
Have you ever wondered how these days started? Someone had to say something and then get others to join in.

There’s no reason we couldn’t do the same, right? So, we are going to dub the 2nd Wednesday after Easter as ‘Memorial Women’s Day’. Why? That’s easy – God created each of us women and you are Awesome!!! All you need do is to look around and you will see the women at Memorial loving, learning about, and living for our LORD and Savior as they share their God-given gifts and love with others. 

On this, our first annual Memorial Women’s Day, celebrate the women at Memorial and in your life by reaching out to each other, encouraging each other, lifting each other up in prayer, and praising God for each other.
